Suu Kyi: I didn't ‘suffer too much’ under house arrest
Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi tells TODAY's Ann Curry that despite being detained under house arrest for 15 of the last 22 years, her home is comfortable and that she didn't suffer too much by being alone.
Jan. 21: Aung San Suu Kyi, who calls Gandhi an inspiration, is refocusing her nonviolent movement for democracy, telling TODAY’s Ann Curry that she is willing to engage in dialogue with the military regime and plans on reviewing the position of international sanctions.
