In Burma's jails, there are more than 2000 political prisoners who are imprisoned because of their political conscience and belief and sentenced to draconian prison terms after unfair trials. All are held in poor conditions, ...and are at risk of torture and other ill-treatment. Conditions in Burma’s prisons are harming the health of the political prisoners but access to medical treatment is severely limited. Most are denied adequate food and are therefore malnourished. In support of the national reconciliation process and a genuine democratic transition, the new government must release all those political prisoners without delay. Let's stand together with our unsung heroes of Burma. Please support the cause to release all the political prisoners immediately and unconditionally.
