Than Shwe (not Thein Sein in practice) led mob at Naypyidaw has been USING EXCESSIVE FORCE in DEALING with MATTERS involving the Buddhist monks and the people, not to mention students as well since day one until today.
Yes, Daw Suu should do her best to DELVE DEEP into the MATTER and GET the CULPRIT (S) RESPONSIBLE for this HEINOUS DEED of course.
However, her fact finding commission would meet a DEAD END SOMEWHERE ALONG the LINE/WAY trust me.
And the REPORT as well would not LEND any HAND in RENDERING JUSTICE on the CULPRIT(S) much less GIVE A FAIR GO to the VICTIMS (Buddhist monks and people) as well.
In actual fact and practice, the Minister for Home Affairs shoud head the list of culprits responsible for the heinous deed and finally, the BUCK SHOULD STOP at Thein Sein for that matter in all decency and honesty to say the least.
Forming the fact finding commission and giving Daw Suu the lead for that matter is SIMPLY STRETCHING the TAPE only as we used to say in Burma.
And BEST BET for Daw Suu is just STAY OUT OF HARM'S WAY and STOP SHOVELING SHIT I say!
In fact, Daw Suu has NO CALL much less OBLIGATION to ACCEPT the ROLE (head of the fact finding commission) in the first place and I don't want to go into length and detail as to "why" as well.
A point for that matter in question: The fact is 8888 Generation Student MEMBERS of the COMMISSION LEFT the SCENE IMMEDIATELY as they know WHO DID IT and WHO SHOULD DO the JOB - find the culprit(s) as well.
